ALCA has expanded its manufacturing capabilities with a major investment in new machinery by Emmegi, including the installation of a new Comet R4 machining centre at the company’s production facility in Tirana. The investment strengthens ALCA’s in-house production infrastructure and supports higher capacity across façade manufacturing processes.
The Comet R4 is a 5-axis CNC machining centre designed for the processing of aluminium, PVC, light alloys, and steel workpieces up to 4 metres in length. Together with related Emmegi equipment added as part of the same investment, the new machinery improves the efficiency of cutting and machining operations while supporting greater precision and continuity across production.
This investment further strengthens ALCA’s ability to manage complex façade requirements directly in-house, with greater control over quality, workflow reliability, and delivery capacity. It represents another step in the continued development of the company’s manufacturing operations in support of increasingly demanding building envelope projects.
